The bedroom is furnished with a King size bed, and a flat screen tv, and has privacy doors leading to the living area. The modern kitchen has been completely updated, is fully equipped and features granite countertops. The living room is cozy with brick walls and a decorative fireplace and a large flat screen TV.

Just off the living room, the dining area has a dining table that seats 5, perfect for a quiet meal at home. The beautifully updated bathroom includes a full-size tub and shower combination. The French doors lead to an outdoor garden area, perfect for morning coffee, afternoon cocktails, or taking in the warm Savannah air on a quiet evening after a day of sightseeing. There is a stacked washer and dryer included just for your use.

The Southern Belle Townhome sits on East Taylor Street between Drayton St and Bull Street on Monterey Square. This square's main attraction is the Mercer-Williams House, originally built in 1860. The home was made famous in the 1994 book "The Garden of Good and Evil" which was later turned into a movie, is based on real-life events and people who lived in the Mercer Williams House. Just across the square sits Congregation Mickve Israel, one of the few Neo-Gothic style synagogues in the United States. The Synagogue was erected in the 1870s and is home to the third-oldest Jewish congregation in America. Both Mercer-Williams House and Mickie Israel offer tours of these beautifully restored buildings.

In-unit WIFI is available. The occupancy limit for the day and overnight guests is a maximum of 4. This property is pet-friendly for one (1) adult dog only with payment of additional pet fee.

Parking information: Parking for this home is on-street and metered Monday to Friday, 8 am to 5 pm. Guests are encouraged to either purchase a pre-paid parking pass from the Savannah Visitor Center or park on a nearby non-metered street. Neighborhood street parking spaces have a 2-hour time limit on Taylor Street nearest to the townhome.

Guests will also be located only a short 20-25 minute drive to Tybee Island, Savannah's beach. Come out for a day trip to enjoy the beach, fishing, visiting Ft. Pulaski, or climbing Georgia's oldest and tallest lighthouse.
